Revival Gold (TSXV:RVG, OTCQX: RVLGF) offers investors an exciting value proposition with significant exposure to two high-quality development-stage gold projects located in the western United States. The Company’s current market capitalization represents about 30 ounces of gold per 1,000 shares held.
With the price of gold on the rise, quality new gold mines in low-risk jurisdictions are becoming increasingly more precious. The scale and location of Revival Gold’s projects together with these project’s relatively low risk and short timelines to production make Revival Gold a standout investment opportunity among the company’s gold developer peers.
Revival Gold recently completed a Preliminary Economic Assessment (“PEA”) on its open-pit heap leach Mercur Gold Project located in Utah, U.S.A. The project is expected to produce typically 95,000 to 105,000 ounces of gold per year over a 10-year mine life and has an after-tax NPV5% of $295 million and a 27% IRR at $2,175/oz gold. Mine permitting is expected to be completed in about two years.
This Carlin-type gold deposit is a successful past producing gold mine with excellent infrastructure including access by paved road from Salt Lake City (about 70 minutes drive), grid power, and office facilities on site. The deposit is open at depth and has been under-explored with less than 0.5% of drilling to-date below 400 meters depth.
Revival Gold is advancing mine permit preparations and ongoing exploration at Beartrack-Arnett Gold Project, a multi-million-ounce orogenic deposit located in Idaho, U.S.A. A phased development is planned with production expected to start with a low-cost open pit heap leach operation, followed by a potential underground concentrate operation.
The initial open pit heap leach phase is expected to produce 65,300 ounces of gold per year and has an after-tax NPV5% of $226 million and a 43% IRR at $2,175/oz gold. The project benefits from existing infrastructure, including grid power, an ADR processing facility, and road access. Located one hour from the nearby town of Salmon, Idaho, the project requires no man camp or fly-in staffing.
Both Mercur and Beartrack-Arnett have successful operating histories, offering extensive data and operating experience which saves costs and reduces uncertainty and redevelopment risks.
Revival Gold’s leadership team — gold industry veterans with decades of experience in designing, financing, building, and operating gold mines in the western United States and around the world — is committed to success.
