Pursuing a Revival in Salmon, Idaho

Revival Gold recognizes and appreciates the necessary and important involvement of our neighbours in the potential re-development of the Beartrack-Arnett Gold Project.  That includes, first and foremost, frequent dialog with the residents of Salmon, Idahoans across the state, and our regulatory partners at the US Forest Service and the State of Idaho.

Our objective is to bring economic and social prosperity to all our stakeholders, including the City of Salmon and the State of Idaho. Our primary responsibility and commitment is to the safety and well being of our neighbours and those who work for Revival Gold. Our social relations are based on mutual respect, transparency, and an open dialogue with all stakeholders.

We aim to be actively engaged with the local community and a “partner of choice”. We hire locally and engage local Idaho businesses and organizations to support the community and State wherever possible.

Pursuing a Revival in Salmon

Revival Gold is a growth-focused gold exploration and development company. Revival Gold’s key project is the Beartrack-Arnett Gold Project located about 33 miles by road from the city of Salmon, Idaho.

The city of Salmon dates to the 1860’s when gold was first discovered at Leesburg on the present-day Beartrack-Arnett property. Today Salmon is home to about 3,000 people. Ranching, seasonal tourism and mining and exploration are the principal drivers of the city’s private sector employment.

Idaho’s first Governor, George Laird Shoup, hails from Salmon. Governor Shoup was a soldier, an early pioneer, a merchant, and a miner and in 1897 he patented the first lode claim on the present-day Arnett Property.

Revival Gold is a member of the Salmon Valley Chamber of Commerce and supports the Salmon Hockey Association, the Idaho Food Bank and other community interests. We are members and actively participate in the Idaho Mining Association, the American Exploration and Mining Association and Women’s Mining Coalition. We host periodic site visits for state and local government representatives and other interested parties, and we pursue active and constructive engagement with non-profit organizations and community groups.

If you have any questions or wish to learn more about how Revival Gold engages with the community, please feel free to reach out to either our Salmon or Toronto office.  Contact details for each can be found under our Contact tab.
