At Beartrack-Arnett, Revival Gold is preparing for mine permitting while continuing exploration on this five-kilometer-long orogenic gold deposit. A phased development plan will reduce initial capital costs, beginning with a low-cost open pit heap leach operation, followed by a mill development for sulphide material.
The initial development at Beartrack-Arnett boasts an after-tax NPV5% of US$170 million and an after-tax IRR of 34% at US$2,000/ounce gold. Like Mercur, the project benefits from existing infrastructure, including a power line, an ADR gold processing facility, and road access. Located one hour from Salmon, Idaho, Beartrack-Arnett does not require a man camp or fly-in-fly-out staffing.
Both Mercur and Beartrack-Arnett have had successful operating histories. Past operating experience and extensive existing project information reduce future data collection needs and lower the risk associated with potential re-development.
